What? The Dr. Who plots are always the same. Dr and companions land at some point in time and space. Something strange is going on. Dr solves problem right at the end of the episode using his sonic screwdriver and his brain.

That said, I love watching the reruns that are on back-to-back during the day

She tried to explain it to me and started with "so there is this alien called the doctor that travels through time..." and I decided that I really didn't need to watch it.

I didn't, but I know the Weeping Angels come back, which means it is definitely worth your time.

Freaks and Geeks is like ****ing the AIDS monkey. Sure, it seemed like a fun little idea at the time, but hardly worth it once you look back at the disease it spread.

You know those moments where you realize you're at the edge of your seat and your breathing gets shallow and you barely even notice it? Then all of a sudden the scene is over and you take a deep breath.

There were a bunch of them scattered throughout the pilot of Last Resort. The big one was quite obvious at the end starting about the time the missile was over Indiana. There were a few moments where I was left stunned.

The only thing I wish they would have done differently is end it when he finished the video. Having the screen go black right after he said "You have been warned" would have been a perfect ending to that episode.

Completely agree. That would have been an ending where you think, "OH SH*T!" and your jaw drops.

I thought exactly the opposite, that would have been Typical TV. This way, you're in on the in-game. "Just crazy enough." And there's a lot more to it than just another stupid 24 show. I love that they have set the captain up as completely ambiguous, and we have no idea whether he is part of the solution or we've got a bigger problem now.

First 30 minutes sucked; second 30 minutes were great. I have high hopes for that show.

Now kill off the XO's useless wife so he can have his torrid affair with Vasquez.
