Yeah...between the "Marshall and Lilly are new parents" cliche and the fact that Quinn sucks and is a stupid storyline (it is pointless we know he marries Robin) I just want the season/series to end. Lets just have Barney's wedding so Ted can meet the wife (who I am guessing is in the band since she has her guitar and is at the wedding) and then lets have it all be a dream Newhart style

Even though we all believe that, I'm not sure if we know that for certain "officially." Yes they are referred to as Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney all the time but they aren't actually related. So that doesn't mean they actually get married. But I likely just got sucked in by the misdirection in the season premier.

This show doesnt have misdirections anymore...99% of everything is rehashed stories and sitcom cliches now. It is sad because the show used to be pretty good at switching things up and being interesting. Them both freaking out is just jitters. Ted will save the day as best man.

It was a very underwhelming season opener, to say the least. If the show doesn't end this season, it will lose its entire viewing audience as we all give up and find something that's not jerking us around like we've seen these last two/three seasons.

"Lost" jerked us around and lots of people including me stayed until the end and were quite upset about all the time that was wasted. But you are right, if they don't end it this year we will have another "Office" type collapse next season.

Sure, it has some impact, but we all know it only happened that way because Sutter had absolutely no idea what to do with that character, other than to just sacrifice him like that. At least it was one hell of a dark sendoff, and it was certainly staged well.
All the same, so much for the show spinning it's wheels, huh? Now what/who do I root for?
Well, it was either Opie or Chibs, and to be perfectly honest, I kind of thought we'd be heading down some sort of road like this last week. If nothing else, it only makes sense with this show, since now we've officially wasted one of the show's best characters for little more than a "shock" twist that's supposed to mean something because of how we feel about the character.

The only thing I can think of is that the 200s were the original HD channels and they were numbered as they were added to the lineup for the most part. The 800s match the regular broadcast channels better. I'm thinking Comcast will eventually dump the 200s and keep the 800s. The 200s and 800s are most likely the same frequency but have different labels.
