TV, or not TV, that is the question

You know, I'm kinda surprised that Celebrity Jeopardy didn't inspire more of that now that I think about it... It's a great way to get the most out of your 30 seconds....

It might, but remember, they still cut and edit the show.

I enjoyed the first episode of The Bastard Executioner, of course it's the type of show I like, I'm looking forward to BBC's The Last Kingdom as well. I just watched Empire for the most part I enjoyed it, the part I didn't like, all the rap music, is the reason I didn't watch it when it aired originally.

I had Tivo-ed The Making of the Mob and finally got to watch the first episode last night. Enjoying the docu-drama style of the show. Looking forward to the reat of the series (and going they follow up with Chicago as was planned).

Have also been watching Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. Enjoying it, but I really hope they're doing old age make up on Denis Leary. John Corbett was nailed the aging guitar player character. Love the daughter's voice as well.

Didn't see her. Frankly I am amazed more people don't troll Trebek when they don't know a final jeopardy answer. "I'm sorry Alex / Trebek is such a fruit."

I've heard Trebek personally hates when people goof off on Final and the production staff specifically discourages it.

It's kinda like the occasional chucklehead who gets on The Price is Right and keeps bidding $420.

That really happens? That's so dumb. :p

Edit: Looks like it happened only once. By all rights everyone should always do it, from now on.

I watched the series premiere of Blindspot last night. The guy playing Spec. Agent Kurt Weller (lead man) needs acting lessons, or the director needs to give the man new direction in how to portray the character. It's one issue or the other, and it's detracting from the entire show. Jaimie Alexander, the lead woman, did all right. NBC is really trying to titillate with obscure shots that hint at nudity, and playing that game could get old fast.

Yeah, I love the premise. I think the actress is good. You're right though the leading man leaves much to be desired.

What in the honest to God fu--

Ghost Adventures stars Mark and Debby Constantino were found dead in their daughter's apartment in Sparks, Nevada, on Tuesday, ET has confirmed.

In what police believe to be a related incident, another unidentified man was found dead inside Debby's apartment. According to Reno police, 53-year-old Mark -- who was estranged from Debby -- is suspected in the deaths of both Debby and the unidentified man. He also took his own life.

I must say, though, "In what police believe to be a related incident," is a journalistic flourish.

We've had the Borgias and now we get the Medicis.

@BattlestarShow: Dustin Hoffman, Richard Madden set to star in drama about Italy's Medici family http://www.snsanalytics.com/XskGy2

Dors that mean in 500 years our descendants will watch series based on the Kennedys, Bushes, and Clintons?

Re: TV, or not TV, that is the question

Didn't you watch "The Men Who Built America?"

Fantastic series and didn't have to wait 400-500 years.

I hated that series. I expected something substantive but it was just hagiography brought to you by the CoC. Nice CGI but lousy history.

Anyone watch Scream Queens? I just couldn't get that into it. It bills itself as a comedy/horror but the comedy attempts are weak at best. Still haven't made it all the way through the 2 hour premier and deciding if I want to finish it.

I watched it distractedly. Given the humor employed, we are not its target audience. It'll be a hit with the teenage and college kids - who don't really watch TV anymore. Smart move, Fox.

It looked like a complete rip off of American Horror Story, sanitized for network TV, with a little 2 Broke Girls thrown in. I can't imagine its any better than terrible.
