I had no idea she was such a nepo baby. That sucks. Without knowing that, I liked her because she is so opposite of the usual comedian that drops off the conveyor belt. I liked that so many hated her -- in a Derpy world, inaccessibility sometimes indicates quality. In short, I hoped she was Kaufmanesque.

But I guess it's merely a cynical, focus-tested, insider-vetted tactic. Boo!

Been watching The Following on Netflix. I remember picking this series up in season two on regular TV having missed the entire first season. It's almost a comical farce how stupid law enforcement is portrayed in the series as the plot arch.

It's like watching an accident. You can't take your eyes away.

Last 2 episodes of SNL aside from the cold open were mostly solid start to finish. I'm also a huge fan of ASAP Rocky and both his songs, but the stage production for both was super cringe. btw Jost as Hegseth made me laugh probably more than it should have.

Trying to remember if I ever got around to the last season. After several seasons the storylines were so damn deep it was hard to pick up a new season and still remember where the show was.

Trying to remember if I ever got around to the last season. After several seasons the storylines were so damn deep it was hard to pick up a new season and still remember where the show was.

I had all but one season on DVD and then bought the movie that wraps it all up. When I started my rewatch, some of my old DVDs were having issues and wouldn't play or were skipping and lagging. But then I found the full box set (no movie) at Walmart over the weekend for all of $50. Has all episodes including the special ones (e.g. All That and Gargantua 2).

Also regarding Venture Brothers. I love the Operation P.R.O.M episode (which at one point was going to be the finale). The various explanations for what a "Rusty Venture" was were gold.

Action Johnny had to be one of the best lesser used side characters (the list of great side and guest characters is super long). "I see you got a little herpe on your mouth there. You get that from licking your wife's ass? After I put herpe in there?"
