That whole Stephen Colbert flap is insanely stupid.

It's yet another massive exercise in showing how the American people just want to make a display of indignation these days.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

What happened?

Colbert did a bit making fun of the Washington Redskins mascot issue by referencing Asians. Comedy Central tweeted out just one line from his bit, and the offended parties took the one line out of context and want Colbert canceled because he's a racist.

The line in question:
“I am willing to show #Asian community I care by introducing the Ching-Chong Ding-Dong Foundation for Sensitivity to Orientals or Whatever.”

He was basically using comedy to show how absurd the Washington Redskins owner's new foundation for Native Americans is.

Yes. and there are plenty of examples on this board too.

(OMG, you said WHAT about the Gophers?!??!)

Walking Dead

Loved the first 40 minutes or so. Rick is a complete badass.

The last 20 served more to set up next season than a cliffhanger - not that there always needs to be a cliffhanger.

Rather obvious foreshadowing with the rabbit snare. Thought that they should have realized they were being herded.

Either way, good episode, good season. Now to wait till October.

Good ol badass Rick was back tonight, loved it. The ending was anticlimactic, but meh. It set up the next season well enough.

They did realize they were being herded. Rick told Michonne "they're shooting at our feet" after she said "I don't think they're trying to kill us". But they didn't really have any choice.

The question that me and my fiance were wondering about, is who's watch was it? My fiance thought it was Carol's, I thought it was Hershel's, via Glenn. If you think about it, the answer to that question is quite important...

It was Glenn's - was on a chain.

The producer on Talking Dead also indicated that Carol and Ty are still "out there" somewhere.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Ok, that answers it then. Carol is going to save the day!

And Carol will kill everyone in that place with zero remorse or thought - including any companions who pull up lame.

Should be fun. :D

I hope they have an original backstory for these Terminus people. I don't want a rehash of everything they just put to bed with the Governor.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Waling Dead spoilers?

Apparently, there was comic book storyline where they run into cannibals

I think there will be a number of differences. Clearly they're cannibals. In addition, the room with all of the candles had things written on the wall like "Never again" and "It's us before them" or "We stick together."

I believe they were set upon or took in people who betrayed them in a bad way and that now they're only taking in new people as a food source. There were people yelling for help from the storage containers that they ran past during the shooting.

The maps to Terminus are almost a spider web drawing in easy prey. Pretty smart plan actually and the foreshadowing also (in addition to the snare) happened when Rick and Michonne were talking about their day to day lives being consumed by looking for food.

Terminus has solved that little problem.

Seems almost cult-like. Jonestown.

They may have snared the wrong prey though.
