Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

As far as Walking Dead, I thought maybe they just might leave her there. Let her fend for herself, get "changed". But I guess if you need the dirty jobs done, just leave it up to Carol. I thought the smoke was from the cabin as well. Maybe someone's having a zombie bonfire?

That is what I was thinking too, during the conversation at the kitchen table between Carol and Tyrese, when they were talking about leaving. The direction they took sure made a much larger impact.

I think they wanted us to think it was the cabin that was burning. But for a few reasons mentioned here, it doesn't make sense. Why would a rickety, old, small cabin burn for several days? And why would there be burning walkers? Do they walk into fire themselves? I am sure that something else serious is going on with that fire. Maybe it is Terminus?

Also, on a different topic, I'm getting really excited for the new season of Game of Thrones. Who dies this season? or, maybe Who doesn't die this season? :p

It's only 3 weeks away. I'm dang near giddy.

Well, the only show I watch is Walking Dead and luckily, she likes it more than I do.

a little out of left field but the wife and I regularly watch Two Broke Girls because its after How I Met Your Mother. Is anyone else as shocked as I am that TBG is not only on broadcast TV but that its on CBS at 7:30pm Central? That just seems crazy to me with the way they write that show...

I've heard this argument before (maybe from you?) but I really don't understand it. Granted, I've only seen a handful of episodes, frankly because the show sucks, but I don't think it's 'shocking'. Sure it's crude to an extreme, but nothing most people can't handle.

Yeah, but that hasn't stopped people like the PTC from protesting shows before because they consider anything before 10 est to be family time.

Two Broke Girls. Never watched it but I heard and figured it was pretty risque.

What gets me is Revolution. 8pm primetime. A few weeks ago, they were in this skanky Mexican town looking for Monroe's son, and Monroe asks Miles, "Why'd you bring him here, did you buy him an 8-ball and a hand-job?"

And then last week, Monroe asks Rachel "when does your daughter find time to sneak away and bang my son? What is this, blackout with your cack out?" Which really amused me cause this guy I know is always cracking jokes about "the cack".

Oh, and two TV's. All problems solved.

yes, we have multiple tvs...my man cave has 3 of its own...the problem is I still get in trouble for "disappearing" to my man cave and not spending enough time together...

Reminder: When it's the zombie apocalypse, and one of the three little kids you're with is showing signs of serious problems dealing the reality, it might not be a good idea to leave that kid alone with her daydreaming little sister and an infant. T-Dawg 3.0 and Carol dropped the ball on this one. Just sayin'.

I don't know. We knew more about Lizzie than they did. They had no clue that she had been showing signs of psychosis. They just thought she was a little confused.

Oh, and Tyreese is totally the bartender from the bar in the bad neighborhood in "Horrible Bosses."

RE: women and shows

I'm lucky in that my woman hasn't had cable in 12 years, so the only shows she really watches are ones I recommend to her (Netflix, my dvds, etc). She did try something new one day and watched Hoarders at my place. That lasted 2 episodes before she couldn't watch it anymore (I told her it was a crappy disgusting show).

Hoarders is a perfect way to get to the point of yelling "WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!" at the TV.
