Psych the Musical: brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Between Gus' "Jamaican Inspector Man", Yin-Yang, and the music... could not stop laughing.

I thought it was okay. But the music didn't add much to it for me. It could have easily been just a regular episode and done well. But yes, "Jamacian Inspector Man" was good. My question is why this was held onto until now. Obviously this was set to take place before last season because Julliet still didn't know Sean was a fake in this show.

Trailer for Time of the Doctor, which will be Matt Smith's last episode.

I am NOT a Doctor Who fan per se, but I did watch several episodes when BBC-America had Doctor Who on 24/7 leading up to to the DAY of the DOCTOR extravaganza a month ago... I also have several friends that are fanboys on FaceBook and other social media... Kinda getting pulled into this mess... Seems like this is worth checking out...

It was probably to remind us that a new season is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to January 8.

Does anyone else watch Treme on HBO? (same folks who did The Wire, and a few of the actors as well) This is the final season and I will be sad to see it go. Similar to the Wire, it focuses on multiple stories that interact at times. And much like the Wire, where Baltimore itself could be considered a character, the Treme and the city of New Orleans are a central part of the story as well.

It doesn't hurt that the music, and there is a lot of it, is just amazing. Many of the musicians featured are regular musicians in New Orleans.

I tried watching Treme when it was first airing, but I couldn't get into it. Most people say that it's a phenomenal show, but there was just something about it that didn't reach me.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Started watching The League last weekend. It is funnier than I thought it would be. Pushed through quite a few episodes while we were sitting around the house.

Finished off the seasons of Homeland and SOA. Both were OK, not great. Homeland finally went the direction I wanted it to since the last season finale, but it was too slow for the last half of the episide for a season finale. No cliff hanger, just a slow fade into the break... For SOA, I figured something like that would happen, because its the only thing they do on SOA, everything is just sloppy, with way too many montages.

Next I need to finally finish Orange is the New Black, I've had a few episodes left for the last couple months.

Mob City may not be great, but Robert Knepper is one helluvan actor.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Although, Mob City picked it up a notch in the last thirty minutes, and I like where it looked like it was gonna go. But right now, doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Hard to believe A&E had no idea their 'star' had some of these opinions.

Also, am I the only one marveling at how someone can be suspended from their own reality TV show? And no, I don't think any reality TV show is real or reality...just commenting on the absurdity of suspending someone from their own reality.

Given that he and others in that family have given numerous interviews where they express particularly conservative religious views, reported by various news outlets, how could anyone expect to hear this guy say otherwise?

As an aside, I've seen maybe four or five episodes of this show, and it amazes me that people watch this junk.

Your not the only one marveling at it, I'm sure, but it's not that astonishing when you think about it. Being the star of a show and running the show are two different things.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

There is no way the family goes ahead with the show without Phil. My guess is Duck Dynasty is dead in its current form, and we'll see a reincarnation of it on a channel that is more friendly to their beliefs, and actually respects their rights.

Re: TV 10: Blacklisted Sons: The Musical

Started watching Shameless this week. Pretty fun to see William H. Macy in this light.
Shameless is really good. Well-acted all the way around and crazy, amusing plots.

Also, Daily Show the other night with the cast of Anchorman was hilarious.

Shameless debuted when I had a free preview of Showtime however many years ago, but I only got to see the first three episodes. Right now my cable provider only has the last season available for on demand viewing. I want to see the show in order because it was really good and Ms. Rossum was plenty fun to watch.

The British version of Shameless is fantastic, but I love Macy in the American remake.

As for Duck Dynasty, it's no surprise. He's got a right to say, but if the contract says to keep it to yourself in interviews, then he violated it. I totally agree with St. Clown, I don't get the appeal of the show. That's why I stick mostly to scripted shows because they don't try to operated under the pretention of it being called reality. I'll stick with SOA and Doctor Who.
