Getting bad rep since 1984
The Bulldogs (6-0-2) travel to Grand Forks to take on the Fighting Sioux (4-3-1) in a battle of WCHA preseason favorites. Last weekend the Bulldogs held on to steal three points on the road in Bemidji, while the Sioux split at home against Denver.

While I'm happy we're playing the Sioux on the road early in the season rather than later, tBulldogs performance against Bemidji was shaky at best. I'll be extremely happy with a split.

if the Sioux get out of the weekend with a point, it's a good weekend. They probably should prepare for Pony to not be playing, as Martin is now having emergency surgery on his neck. I'm sure this will cause the WCHA to toss an extra suspension his way.

While I don't believe tDogs are the third best team in the nation right now, this series should be close and I'd be very pleased with 2 points. There's no way tUMD gets out of Grand Forks still undefeated.

Agreed with Sloe, I think we'll be missing Malone for at least one game this weekend, maybe more.

I believe it will be a split as well but I wouldn't be shocked if the dogs take 3 points from it. I only say that because I still feel like North Dakota isn't fully moving yet and I think the Dogs offense will pick it back up

I'd guess 3 for tUMD.

UND is starting the year off slow, again. Malone may be gone for a game or two.
