tHoven and tTiggsy mistake arrogance for confidence. tUMD is on a nice run right now and it has Biddco feeling confident.

Which town Brent? Minneapolis? St. Paul? Duluth?

tTiggsy is puzzled by the "confidence" because tUMD is still looking up in the standings at a team that swept them. That makes them ripe for an upstart tHusky team to take a game or two.

Oldish husky would be very happy if his team was looking up at only one other team regardless of whether or not they were swept by them.

tUMD is only ONE point behind UMTC. tUMD has not lost since that sweep and tUMD has been playing well (which builds confidence). Biddco buys the idea that being swept by our sister school will only further motivate tUMD (good to get that first series of being swept out of the way because in 2009-2010 UMD was swept in Jan and never recovered)

Biddy knows UMTC tUMD will play again...perhaps Final Five or the Western Regional

gopher wes is glad UMTC played tUMD when they did and agrees that a meeting later in the year would be be cool, but tUMD is one of two teams gopher wes wouldn't want to play in the Final Five at this point.

tTiggsy knows it is one point, however if this was the end of the season 1 point is all is needed to take home tCup. tTiggsy wonders where tUMD's motiviation was when they played. No other team seems to have issues getting up to play tGophers. Maybe tUMD was having eye strain from staring at their shiny new trophy and looked past a quality Gopher team. What's to say tUMD won't do that again with an quality MTU team as well, especially now tDogs are on a roll?

tTiggsy disagrees and is not putting words in anyone, simply offering his own. Maybe it had little to do with how well Kenny played but the fact tgoalie had not faced such a potent offense.

tTiggsy also is picking a split due to first hand experience of watching a team do well and know the ride has to end sometime. Plus Tech is not the roll over team of years past. New coaches can do wonders turning around teams. Just look at Gopher foot.... um nevermind... Wild, yes... let's look at the Wild.
