huskyfan thinks we should not talk hockey til Friday. huskyfans will cheer the tUMD in football this weekend but NOT in hockey. huskyfan says tUMD dogs are Gwoz's little girls and will be gobsmacked this weekend by the awesomeness that is Coach Pearson.

Yes, but tTech fans can grill meat and drink beer any old day of the week. :p Besides... it's tSportsGarden! With tKamikazis! Not something that tTech fans have every day (not even tFlashy, though tFlashy really doesn't have an excuse :p) Half the fun of the hockey trip is going to the local hockey/dive/cheap drink bar anyway.

Just funning - BPH can respect tmetal, and pretty much any genre. Weirdly, BPH just doesn't like nearly any pop music until it's been out at least 10 years.

Mhmm. tMel has intimated that Tech would continue seeing UMD, Minnesota, Wisconsin and UND, and possibly gain appearances from Michigan and Michigan State, on a yearly home/away, home/2 away or home/away/neutral rotation. No idea about other soon-to-be-former WCHA rivals, but BPH would be surprised to see Denver and CC on Tech's schedule in the age of the NaCHo.

Biddco appreciates the support for UMD football. Sounds like they will have their hands full with WSU.

Biddco knows tUMD will do a much better job than Denver to show NCHC supremacy. Biddco is expecting a split and hoping for more for UMD.

Biddco wonders when we will know FOR SURE that their will be a Friday Luncheon.

RWD would like to remind everyone that tUMD has no fear of tMel. RWD hopes tTech nerds remember that tMel was having a sad on April 9, 2011, while tUMD was doing snow angels and swearing on live television.

F2B&G thinks this is mutually beneficial for all parties involved. Tech saves money for the AK trips, and no more whining from Gwoz about traveling to Da Yoop. ;)

tctf is quite perturbed that her phone keeps autocorrecting tctf to TCDD.
tctf thinks tTech will come away with tSweep. tctf saw a large bin of brooms at tlocal Walmart, and thinks that they are excellent at predicting demand. Where's tSG when you need him?

Tmanurespreader says that rooting for UMD in any sport is unamerican and he will not do it under any circumstances except on occations when tumd plays umtc poseurs, especially since his daughter is a student at the aforemention WSU.Tmanurespreader further says that gobsmacked is exactly what tumd deserves, though it is probable that tumd will sweep, and finally tmanurespreader says that the only person in the twhole world that takes longer to get to houghton than alaska is the king himself, gwoz.

And tTech nerds would like to remind RWD that while tMel was there, the ultimate responsibility for tUMD's snow angels belongs to a certain doddering old man stalking the halls of Yost. tTech fans also hope tMel has a little something to prove, and that tUMD underestimates the progress tMel has made with tTech squad.

As a noob to USCHO, stuckinwi finds this thread odd... But likes it. And anyone that goes to tTech or lives in Houghton ought to know that those brooms have a sole purpose in life, playing the greatest game on earth. (that's right, better than hockey)

Stuckinwi is also very excited about seeing a home series in tflesh as he'll be home again this weekend. But stuckinwi is not excited about flying from Wisconsin to tWestCoast at 7 AM Sunday.
