tShirtless Guy says the huskie started 2-0-0/3-0-2 before falling apart. Its mostly do to a huge amount of injuries and some discipline issues. In order of returning points for forwards: Brett Olson (11 missed games, broken finger), Jordan Baker (missed season, idk), Bennett Royer (11 missed games, idk), Eric Kattelus (13 missed games, kicked off team), Anthony Schooley (13 missed games, quit after Kattelus incident/playing time), Alex MacLeod (Healthy), Aaron Pietila (1 game missed, plus out this weekend, ankle?).

baker was shoulder surgery over the summer, he was suppose to be back for the Northern games, but had a bad ankle/foot thing (completely unrelated)
royer was a broken foot
pietila tcm believes that was a ankle sprain
gordic has been playing hurt for the last 3-4 series....unsure there, probably just beat up in general
sova and brown have both been noted to be "hurting" according to a couple of Russell's postgame thoughts

Philbert picked up something reading the WCHA blog for this week. Philbert now knows that Michigan Tech could lose the next 39 hockey games against Minnesota-Duluth, and still be above .500 in the overall all-time series.
Philbert also notes that we may need that many games.
Philbert thinks the streak might end tonight. Philbert says that if the streak does not end tonight, Saturday will be ugly given Tech's recent history. Philbert adds that Saturday may very well be ugly regardless of what happens tonight, given Tech's recent history.

Yager wins, he is going to bed finally sometime soon and not listening to the game.
BTW, word out of the Yager Alumni room is that Hietila was hurt a couple of few series ago and is done for the season while Aaron Pietila and Bennet Royer could be back as soon as next weekend.

Unfortunately The Darkness will only be able to follow this game via his phone because his laptop was company product and had to turned back in because this was his last day.
