from the sounds, it is a bizarrely homerish crew out there, above and beyond anything I've ever heard of in organized sports before. I've never heard these guys so critical of the refs before, especially Wes usually keeps his thoughts to himself. Something very strange must have happened with this crew before the game to cause this, would be interesting to hear the story if they would ever tell it.
Oh well, when it's this blatant there are disciplinary actions that can be taken. I'm sure Mel knows a few people in the CCHA that can sit this crew down for a little chat or just get rid of them. It's really a shame though, ruins the hockey game.
