Pizza: Broadway Pizza. Even one of your own (GLM) raved about it.

Doesn't change where he came from, and was probably the basis for his songs. :p

Oh, forgot the home of the Jucy Lucy. That right there is a win. I don't care where you're from.

I'm as much from NYC as bbdl is. Upstate does not equal NYC.

Broadway Pizza was solid, especially when I went there figuring all you guys had was the sh-tty chains.

By the way Brent, there's a nice brew pub here in Troy that now serves a Juicy Lucy. :eek:

You do realize there's nearly 3 million people in the twin cities metro area, right? It's no NYC, Chicago, or LA, but it's not exactly tiny, either.

The transit system is improving - there's commuter rail serving downtown Minneapolis from Big Lake, and the light rail system will add a couple spokes within a few years (one connecting downtown Minneapolis to downtown St. Paul and another joining Minneapolis and the SW metro). Given the low population density, this is about as good as one can expect.

And I should also mention that Minneapolis is VERY similar to NYC w/ its emphasis on the arts.

As far as food goes, you simply haven't gone to the right places here. If you think it's only crappy national chains, you are sorely mistaken.
