Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

Depends - was it a real salad or a taco/cobb/chef's "salad" with regular dressing? ;)

Your rationale sounds familiar though.
It was a real salad with actual vegetables in it, but it did also have chicken and cheese.

I celebrated vegetarian day in Michigan (while in St. Paul) on Saturday. In celebration, I ordered Tom Reid's Wild Burger. Which is 3 1/3 lb patties, 3 layers of bacon and 3 layers of cheese.

Nice appetizer, what did you get for an entree?

Re: TRP: These Ides Have Seen A Lot Of Loves...

Anyone want to give me $300 so I can go up to Albany again this weekend?

I guess fans at the Final Five should've been taunting BU fans about their sandbags instead of UND fans.

Aubrey Plaza (April on Parks and Recreation): Attractive?

When I said hire a DD, I literally meant hire someone who is not in your group of hockey friends to be a DD. I know none of you were going to stay sober, even for $40. (I'm thinking were talking at least 3 figures to get one of you guys to stay sober during the F5)

I've done that multiple times over the years. In fact, until maybe last year, I was a driver for the WHOLE F5. I've just been lucky enough to be with people whose cars can hold more than two people comfortably. :p

Shirtless Guy stayed sober for Gastof's and drove a group home. Though, I don't think that was the original plan, just ended up that way.

I didn't know that. I should have, maybe I shoulda been paying attention. I'd have given him $25 to drive us home. :o

How was that? I was so tempted to order that, but you know what happens with a burger like that later on, and I don't trust the facilities in bars/arenas.

or your apartment, since GLM pulled a TBA on your toilet. :p

Actually he didn't.

He never made it to the toilet. At least he made it to the tile. And he pulled a paintedbandit, not a TBA.

AIM later later on (I have a baseball draft in 30 minutes) or tomorrow. We'll figure out your Wii shipping, and I have some questions on a laptop.

It tasted great, but it was a mess and very difficult to eat, not to mention it was alot of effing food to eat.

That is quite a burger. While I was in Albany last weekend I made sure to go to the Pump Station Brewery/Restaurant to get their Pump Station Burger, which is a nicely sized burger where the ground beef is mixed with their house-brewed brown ale, scallions and cheddar cheese, and then topped with bacon, pepper jack and chipotle ranch dressing. It is SO GOOD. Their beers are pretty good too. If anyone is in Albany for the regional this weekend, I highly recommend it.

I'll second this. Pump Station has really good food and brew.

Nice to see you opted to hit the Biergarten. I hope it wasn't overloaded with hipster clowns for you.
