Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

The basic story was never really warped. It was the unknown details of the night (behind closed doors, so to speak) that might have been warped/assumed.
I honestly don't care what she does/did or who it was with. What bugs me is that she had the audacity to give me the speech/conversation that she did, then proceed to essentially rub my face in, with me right there, on Friday night. It just isn't something I'd expect from someone I considered a friend.

I didn't drink as much tonight as I did last night, but it was probably still more than is strictly necessary. :o

The second part is what we're all mad about. The first part happens. It sucks. But it happens.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

The only part of the horror genre I like is zombie movies. The rest of it just sucks.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I feel it is my obligation to the USCHO masses to inform everyone that in northern Wisconsin there is a road called Snooky road. I wonder if anyone who lives on Snooky road has watched Jersey Shore?

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Just random, but I'm gonna remember it's there for future use.

Well, yeah, that went without saying. ;)

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

So last night I man upped and finish watching the movie, we both fell asleep on the couch, but I woke up for like the last 5 minutes of the movie and it was creepy as hell

Are you sure you weren't looking at ctf's foot?

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

It might be different for me, since I went camping in forests/woods similar to what was in the movie, when I was a kid. You definitely hear weird stuff, and that movie brought back those memories. That's why it was creepy to me.

Blair Witch was not scary. I hate scary movies, and I watched that. In fact, way back 10 years ago, for my AP lit class we had to do videos and my group spoofed "Blair Witch Project" (among other things) and skipped school one day to go film in the woods that "Blair Witch" was actually filmed at. That was a really fun day. Called our English teach a 'witch' on film, and she gave us 110%.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

So, I'm researching 1/2 marathons to run this year. My sister is doing the Grand Rapids Marathon, and they have a 1/2, so I decided to check it out, and I found this under the race day info:

Beer Bring a bottle of decent beer or a pint glass from your local microbrewery as a gift for the race director.

I may have found a winner.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

So ctf rented Paranormal Activity not knowing i hate scary movies. **** THAT ****

Oh, just sac up for a change.

What don't you like about them <s>panzy</s>?

.

A good scary/creepy/suspenseful movie is awesome. Copycat, Blair Witch, Halloween (the original), etc.

Blair Witch Project was not scary or creepy in any way, shape, or form. In fact, it was so awful, it was hilarious.

And yes, PB needs to man up.

I don't like scary movies either...but, I'll man up and watch them if that's what someone gets.

Grow a set, PB. :p

The movie was legitimately scary. We watched the end of it this morning, and I was creeped the hell out. Ask PB. I was practically shaking, was really jumpy, and was breathing strangely.

I don't blame anyone. I think the details got mixed up going from person to person. It still doesn't make me any less angry/annoyed about what happened. After all, its been a long time since I've felt as ****ty as I did Friday night/Saturday morning, and it wasn't the alcohol.
I give you mad props for being as controlled about the situation as you were. Seriously.

PB it must suck knowing that ctf has the biggest dong in the relationship.
:D
