Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Not even a dirty one, I just want to know the back story on this:

(301): it's like iHOP with fire

And, ok--which posters are these?

(612): how drunk are you?
(952): What does that even mean anymore?

True, too, which is worse. :o If anyone wonders why the Vikes have so many bandwagon fans - it's because we can't stand the pain.

After the Saints kicked the GW field goal, my dad just stood up and sadly said "49 years." Sadly, I see myself saying the same thing in 20 years. :o

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

But you employed Matt Millen for 8 of those years. That's your own fault. ;)

No one enjoyed any part of that.

Also, congrats, you're now the Red Sox fans of the NFL with all the bellyaching over continued underachieving teams.

I think Cubs fans cry way worse than Vikings fans. Maybe we're just more fresh in everyone's minds since the Cubs haven't done anything in a while.

I'm lucky to not be in the midwest so I don't have to hear from them.

Do Knicks fans whine a lot? They should if they don't.

People give a crap about basketball?

Knicks fans are a weird lot. The current team scores a lot of points now so its "fun" to watch, but they're still miserable. They all hate Dolan something awful but its hard to find people that really take the Knicks seriously at all. Of course, if the team did get good they'd be everywhere.

nah, see, prior to 2004, all you heard about was how good the Sox were. Oh we're the Red Sox, we're not the Yankees, Red Sox nation this, blah blah blah. Then they win the world series for the first time in 86 years and demand that every fan/team bow down to them. Vikings fans will just be like FINALLY and go on hating the team the following year.

Red Sox fans are < Yankees Fans

The tide is turning now that Simmons is on your case. After all, how do you have an entire thing talking about losers and not mention the Lions?

Also, this post rules. Well done.

Sadly, you can't fire the owners.
