Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Troughs aren't common? The X seems to be the first sporting venue around here to not have them.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

They've got the same thing at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Let's just say it makes you instantly awkward.

The Dome has it, as well as the MN State Fair. The general rule (if possible) is the 3-foot comfort space inbetween users.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I understand, but you are taking the high road. Some of the other people in here aren't. ;)
Good, I hope they don't. Roast her. I'm just not going to.
Did it smell like algae? When I was in Venice, that smell permeated everything.
Yeah, there was that kind of scent too.

The Refugeedome had them too.

I think "comfort space" and "trough urinal" are two incompatible thoughts.

And I agree, the French Quarter smells worse than the Joe.

Another short story:
I started BSing with one of the about 60,000 people on Bourbon St. wearing a Saints jersey. I found out that he flew down from Regina for the game. My response: "We kicked your *** in the world juniors!!!" He just laughed, and we ended up talking hockey for a while. It was pretty badass.

My mom has a recipe out on the counter - for holiday brownie bites.

Nothing about the Red Wings though. ;)
