Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Didn't you talk to him about that? :p
Yeah, he wanted me to make a sign about it and bring it to a game. :p :p
Potato, potahto... ;)

Yes, it will. I've seen a lurker, probably reporting all of us for whatever reason but not brave enough to speak up.
That is why I haven't posted anything reportable from the very start of this BS, I figured it would turn into this kind of thing. :(

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Your elevator smells of urine and dead bodies. You have people being evicted all the time. You live in the land of crap. The entire area is Scarface apartments.

Nope. Wrong again. I haven't even seen anyone move out in 2+ years. Wrong, that's you.....and diva......and con....and well, anyone not in MN. Nope, just the turquoise/pinkish-purplish trimmed apts across the street.

dx: check your rep.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Just thought of something: do you own a Colorado Rockies jersey? Those were pretty bad.

No, I've been on the hunt for a decent one. I should've jumped on a Wilf Paiment one that circulated around on Ebay for a while years ago and didn't because the price never came down enough. I'd get the white one though because that one looks pretty awful. It's just like wearing a screwed up version of the Colorado state flag.

I'd like to get a KC Scouts and a Cleveland Barons though.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

I declare shenanigans! There was that eviction notice on the door when I came last year!

Really? You shoulda snagged it! I always wanted to see what one looks like. :o

I remember the Scouts one, don't remember what the Barons looks like, offhand. I do want a Seals one, though. That'd be pretty sweet. And you can't find semi-pros anywhere? I thought River City Sports had all the old teams (semi-pro and pro styles)?

You don't remember this? Not surprising.

You can't get a Barons jersey. They don't make them. I don't think they've made any since they joined with the North Stars. I have a Scouts jersey. Another reason I rule.

I don't remember a lot of minute details that really don't matter in the long run. :p

Really? That's sad. I would think someone out there takes the time to make them bootleg style that is like what they really looked like.

Well I'm sure if you went to street corner in LA and found Sanchez selling oranges, he could direct you to some bootlegger who could get one for you, but I assumed you actually had standards. Not sure why I assumed this though.

River City's stock is sketchy as to what's available. A lot of the Rockies and Scouts stuff is generally out of stock by now. It sucks. The Barons looked like this:

GLM - the NHL one with Ohio on the front or the AHL one with the Shark?

Definitely the NHL one.

I'm talking like they really looked like. I'm pretty sure my old green North Stars jersey isn't exactly licensed by the NHL, but it looks exactly like an official version. ;)

Edit: GLM: ohhhh yeah. Thanks for the pic. I remember now.

Re: TRP: The Speed vs. Comfort Conundrum

Wait, you're a sorostitute? Man, they must have low standards up there.

they had to meet their quota of retards

Brent won't go to LA. His entire world revolves around OC, Santorini's, and his CD collection
