That is how it works, there's a reason it is called "age of consent" it means that you're good to go!

It wasn't legal. Yeah she was over the age of consent, but there is an age gap clause that came into effect. 18 is the golden number.

Hilariously you are wrong per the Michigan law - 16 is age of consent. The 5 year age gap restriction applies to those between 13-16 yrs of age.

Hmmm, laws must've changed since I was in high school. I was taught 16 if the other partner is under 21, otherwise 18.
