Johanna was my great grandmother's name.
My last name isn't exactly what my grandparents came over from Norway with, but we know it was close. The only problem was that we couldn't read the writing on the papers my grandpa had to see the original.

The chick on the RW pronounced it yo-honna. I pronounce it joe-hanna. Oftentimes, people try to prounounce mine jo-honna, and it drives me insane. :p

I can't believe I never heard stories about this when I was at Tech...I would have thought there would be some pretty good ones. Unless you're talking about the DZ's, because from what I've heard, they're all hookers.

I remember that my babysitter when I was really young was named Johanna, and she pronounced it joe-hanna.

One day, I was standing at the counter at Toni's, and it was really slow. Then, I looked out the window, and walking down 3rd street was a woman in a hot pink tube top, a VERY short black shirt, black fishnets, platform heels, and feathers in her hair. Keep in mind this woman was about.. 70. Yeah. I found it very hard to contain my laughter.

My puppy just had the sh*t scared out of her when all of the snow fell off of our porch roof. She's been barking for about 2 minutes now... :p
