TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

Re: TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

I just learned that I'm working on a big project that is making a part we sell to medical labs for VD and gonorrhea testing. You have no idea the pride I feel after learning that. :p

Orders for this part are ramping up quickly. Should I be glad that I get to stay employed or should I be worried about humanity? :D

Be worried in the sense that a recent CDC news release said there's only one treatment available for gonorrhea now. And they're worried about that treatment going the way of the dinosaur in the next few years. We're seeing the first strains of gonorrhea that are resistant to just about everything. When a strain that's resistant to all the known treatments gets into the wild, all bets are off.

They're probably increasing testing supplies because there is now a huge push to catalog the resistant strains and study where they are in the wild and how fast they are spreading.

And that's the closest you'll ever come to having to worry about it. :p

No, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a woman like that out to lunch with her friends and she's the only one to get dessert.

"Four scoops, extra caramel, extra fudge, extra whipped cream, hold the cherry", sound about right?

And her friends can't figure out why she doesn't have a man yet. It's the perfect setting for a terrible, cliche rom-com. :p

So in 2 weeks my band will be playing the Stoner Hands of Doom Festival. I'm pretty psyched about this. Some pretty big bands in the stoner/doom world and some pretty awesome gear vendors (because everyone who plays this stuff is a total dork gearhead).

I know none of you like anything good, but I'm excited anyway.

I know none of you like crap noise, but I'm excited anyway.

I keep hoping that one of your attempts to be funny will... actually be funny. But you keep disappointing me. :(

Re: TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

Oppa is gangham style.

Still awesome, although outdated in this crazy hyperactive world.

Re: TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

They totally played gangham style at TCF Stadium today during the game. Honest to God.

Re: TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

SNL just had a sketch with it, and said exactly that. "I don't know why I like it, but I do." :D

Hilarious. I like techno/dance, but I am very selective in the sound. Gangnam Style just had the right hook. And of course, the ridiculous dance.

Re: TRP: Free of political butthurt since 1999.

I am so glad that I have no idea what you're talking about.

It's Korean techno music song. It's really weird in parts, especially when the guy in the Big Bird/Colonel Sander's outfit starts doing a dance off with the group's lead singer.

There is no ****ing way I'm watching that video. I'd rather pour bleach in my eyes and drive deck screws through my ear drums.
