Sounds like you took the opposite path that I did last night. I think I made the better choice, don't work on the bartenders, take the free drinks and smile back. :p

It was a work dinner, so the drinks were free regardless. In hindsight, that was part of my downfall.

Besides, you should know already that going after a bartender's number is a mission doomed to failure.

here's the down and dirty. I studied. I studied hard. I came in prepared. I knew my *t. He rattled me from the first question on, and me trying to keep my composure just didn't happen. I did everything I could, but he was digging a lot deeper than I needed to know. I did my best and ultimately didn't come up short, but goddam I feel like I did.

He made me feel worthless. And I head to the sim in an hour. That's great *king confidence, huh?

So in other words, you had an egotistical POS with a chip on his POS shoulder pushing your buttons. What a d-bag that guy is!

funny story about that guy. He and I were really cool with each other early on in college, but as college went on, our relationship went south, mostly cause I was the only person in our "group" that was willing to stand up to him and not take his *t. We were at a bar after I graduated and I saw him and he came over and confronted me when I was talking to another group of people. I stood there and let him yell at me and this other dude came in and punched him right in the jaw.

But yeah, this guy was just like him.
