Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Multiple building as SCSU are said to be haunted.

Shoemaker Hall: a lunch lady and a student hanged themselves at different times
Lawrence Hall: a janitor murdered two teachers...a bald male ghost has been seen
Riverview: a teacher in heels upstairs and a child bouncing a ball downstairs.
Miller Library: a soldier
I lived in Shoe - never saw or heard a thing. My roommate may have, but that would likely have organic chemistry origins.
Lawrence Hall - who actually goes in there? Isn't it still the housing department's HQ?
Miller Library - why a soldier? What kind of soldier? The library was built on an old Indian burial ground, delayed construction almost two full years while the local tribe performed rituals to "cleanse" the grounds, and the anthropology department removed the remains.

Oh, and it's all BS anyway.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Know what I did at work from 2pm-5:30pm today (at our offsite location, where I am the only person there during that time)? Nothing. Not sort of nothing, like move a paper clip or drive a forklift in circles. Nothing. There was no action to be done. Yet they couldn't send me home, "just in case" someone decided they needed something.

Talk about mind-numbing.

Edit: Newbie Guide 3.0?? :D

Could you have been driving a forklift in circles? That sounds more entertaining than doing absolutely nothing. You could have set up a course in the warehouse and done some time trials.

That's how I spent my time from about 12-1. It gets old, very quickly.

Re: TRP: Blizzards, Bacon, and Beer

Did you also do it in reverse?

Yes.

Trust me, I did just about all you could do. I processed 4 orders today. 4. I do that in about 5 minutes on a normal day.

If they let people on the internets, I coulda gone here or something, but they don't allow that (and yes, they keep track).

This is why you should come out of the stone age and get a blackberry, so you can surf the net! :p ;)

You could have honed this skill:
