But, if any of you are up for a Ramones Tribute concert, lemme know. Things are going down this Fri night.

I kinda was lazy too, and had other business at home. That, and I don't have a ton of money to throw down on drinks. :o

Yep you should have. I should have mentioned something, but I think we just decided to go down there 20 minutes before gametime and ended up staying there to drink all night. Bootleggers is usually a pretty fun time, and we got in before they started charging cover and they were still during happy hour, so we got 2 for 1's.

edit: I'll tell you the story next time we do something, it doesn't need to be on the boards ;)

Yeah, what BPH said about drinks (since this concert I plan to spend a little), and the short notice.

Bootlegger's seemed like a fun place the one time I was there (helped by the fact that that one girl dragged me to dance with her :D ), and nice on the no cover!

Does anybody know, in general, if tickets are set to go on sale for a show on Ticketmaster, at what time do those tickets go on sale?

The Black Crowes are playing the MN Zoo this summer, and tickets go on sale soon. The zoo's amphitheater holds only a few hundred seats.

Usually it's 10am on a Sat, but sometimes bigger concerts have different times. Start digging on the 'net. I know there's a site with a ton of info, but for the life of me can't remember the exact name. Pollstar or something like that.

I got to the point of dancing last night. It wasn't good. :p

also, oddly, ran into 5 people that I graduated from high school with. not all in the same group. Including 1 that is a former gopher. ;)

Well, hey, if you're interested in the Ramones tribute, lemme know. If we can get enough people, I'd cab it. If not, I'll stay sober and just roll with it.

The tickets for this show go on sale this coming Friday at 10:00. I'm setting up a "meeting" from 8:45 to 10:15, just to be sure between Eastern and Central.

It's been a while since I called in for tix (or even attended a concert). Given the size of this venue, I would double call (land line and cell) until you get through. Start calling at 9:58am, just in case of clock setting differences, and start hoping.
