If you're going to give money...give to the Red Cross or something similar. These fake accounts are almost as deplorable than the act itself.

Glad your wife's OK. Talked to Sloe Gin...all friends present and accounted for.

Let's hope the death toll stays as low as possible. What the hell is wrong with people?

I heard the first two. Wierd thing was nothing happened in the family waiting area for about 45 minutes. Lotta people wondered what the hell they heard. Then lots of sirens.

My Niece and former Sister in law left the area 30 minutes before the Explosion,not sure how close they were but they are back in Maine
Apparently another niece and her family was there also, now back in Groton. Wow, nothing but luck

There were two bombs that exploded near the finish line in today's Boston Marathon," The Boston Marathon's official Facebook page read. "We are working with law enforcement to understand what exactly has happened."

According to reports, authorities in Boston found two more explosive devices that had not gone off and police were dismantling them. The airspace above the city was ordered cleared as well and designated a no-fly zone by the FAA.

Police confirmed a third explosion at JFK Library in Boston. Boston fire officials confirmed during a press conference that the third explosion was linked to the ones that occurred at the Marathon. There were no injuries reported from the third bombing

have not heard from one teammate who was running, but based on his times, I am assuming he's caught up in the group that was diverted.

This absolutely ****ing sickens me.

I've read that the JFK Library incident was a fire and not any sort of explosion... Lots of contradictory reports flying around.
 
The Amtrak site says we"re due in early. nothing about today's events on there. We are about 50 minutes out from Springfield.

NY Post is running with a lot of things that nobody else is reporting. I'd ignore anything they say right now.
