The latest I'm reading from the Buffalo News is that it might be a murder-suicide situation.

With two guys and a woman involved, my fear is that it's a love triangle situation.

It's looking that way.


A law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation said a knife was used in the killings. At least two of the three were found in a bedroom, the source said.

An audio recording captured from the call dispatching police states that a man called in, “said his son called from an unknown number, and stated that he murdered his girlfriend … and he’s also going to kill himself.”

Between this and Jay Stephanik's injury Geneseo has been dealt a really bad hand this season

“At this time, it’s too early in our investigation to label this a murder-suicide,” Geneseo Police Public Information Officer Jeffrey Szczesniak said Sunday, but he added, “We believe the perpetrator is one of the deceased.”

A 911 audio tape available on Facebook seems to bear out that last statement.

“[The father] reported that his son, Colin Kingston, just called him from unknown number, and he said he murdered his girlfriend, ... and he’s also going to kill himself,” the 911 dispatcher says on the tape, before adding, “Unknown means, unknown address.”

The worst news you could possibly expect to hear. It sounds like Matthew was a tremendous person with a bright future. What an awful and senseless loss

My thoughts remain with my alma mater and everyone affected by this tragedy
