Thursday 2/17/11 Hockey Scores - Hockey Night in New England

Re: Thursday 2/17/11 Hockey Scores - Hockey Night in New England

Final in Smithfield, RI..

Curry-4
J&W-1

0-0 after two periods and J&W Ketts scores 23 seconds in on the PP. Curry comes back with four unanswered goals.

Pineiro
Benning
Williams
??? Empty netter??

Watched on Video and announcer said Curry was outshooting J&W 43-14 at one point, will have to see the final stats when it posted!! I think that guarentees Curry the #1 seed. Wentworth can't catch them and J&W could tie them but Curry holds the head to head 2-0!!

It does. Curry has 22 points, JWU 20, and Wentworth 19. Even if Wentworth wins Saturday, they'd only have 21 and could only get the #2 seed with a win (21 pionts) and a JWU loss at Nichols (20 points). If Wentworth and JWU finished tied for second, JWU holds the tiebreaker.

Becker is locked into fourth and Nichols is presently in fifth. Suffolk and WNEC play each other Saturday afternoon with the winner getting the last playoff berth (seeding to depend on the Nichols/JWU game)
