Thunder Domes

Re: Thunder Domes

ok before my time. I grad in '97. Barry Smith the coach?
No the coach was Brian McCuthchen, was a nice guy, played at Cornell with Ken Dryden on their undefeated National Champ Team, also played with the Detroit Redwings I think for a few seasons ??????

He also used to be an assistant coach with the Red Wings too. Pretty sure he's got a couple rings to show for it.

Re: Thunder Domes

Brian is a nice guy, he was coach when I drove bus for them. He was head Coach of the Rochester Ameraks (sp) but he was behind the bench for Buffalo Sabres during these past playoffs.
Prez, I think you have McCuthchen mixed up with Barry Smith. Smith was involved with the Red Wings for several years.

I liked Brian, even when I wasn't driving, he allowed me to ride up to the Genny game with the team. I think it was the last game of Buffalo's last series that showed a really good shot of Brian on the bench.
I started driving for the College in Sept. '86. Since '87 season I have never missed a home game:D

Re: Thunder Domes

WOW! They are really doing the job right from the looks of things. I don't think it's going to be much wider but it sure is starting to look good. No paving yet. A brand new culvert at the swamp area that should take out the washboard section.

Re: Thunder Domes

Looking really good!! New culvert is done which raises the roadbed a bit, new paving is done, working on the guardrails now. Looks like they will go the length of the road.
Very impressed.

Did they paint the ceiling white again yet? ;)
