I think that it was more than appropriate for the crowd at the University of Michigan to boo Corey Tropp everytime he touched the puck Friday night.

So you're into violence on the ice? For crying out loud Kampher was lieing motionless on the ice last year and Tropp took two wacks at Kamphers neck with his stick.

Either is the FACT that Michigan has NINE while sparty only has three.

I was unaware that Michigan and Michigan State are in the ECAC. :confused:
I suppose now that Miami and Notre Dame have risen to the top Michigan and Michigan State will have to put their tails between their legs and crawl away to a weaker conference, AGAIN.

I'm never for censorship, but it kind of bugs me when some middle-aged alum gets in on the "it's all your fault" chant. It just seems so lame. But booing/ridiculing a player is definitely acceptable.

I see your point about "some middle-aged alum" chanting but it's so much fun. And I'm not exactly middle-aged but point taken. FYI, I'm not the oldest person there, definately in the Top 50 but not the oldest.

These are D1 student athletes...all of which have dreams of playing in the NHL. They say much worse to each other on the ice then anything we can dream up. Especially "It's all your fault" :rolleyes:

Yeah, yeah. I didn't explain myself well. I'll yell things that'd embarrass Denis Leary--I've no problem with hurting player's feeling. I just think some chants should be done only by students. It started when I watched this Cornell fan with his two young kids do the "all your fault" thing and I got duoche chills.

Why shouldn't older people be allowed to make fools of themselves at hockey games just as much as younger people? Perhaps you're too sensitive to attend hockey games.:rolleyes:
