Excellent point! If he is going down this road, then why not handle it the way Jack Welch handled GE...... every so often, cut the worst 10% of your players! Or does that only work until your own kid falls into that category???

I can't believe how he defends himself in his blog, but trying to illustrate that this was ONLY ONE of the many items on the agenda at that parent's meeting. It could have been the 99th item, and it would still be inappropriate to be raised for discussion.

Last night that very same site had been taken over by hackers, and there was some interesting stuff on there. They must have cleaned it up since then. I noticed on his blog that he or his outfit is charging $2000/hr for council. It also indicated he is coming from humble beginnings.......Maybe he should also be more humble today...

Putting this one in this thread now that it is open again.

Two stories from the GTA from the opposite spectrum.

This news note is about a coach, who got his team to stand up for one of his players, and as a team decided to boycot the rest of the game/tournament. Coach got an automatic 1 year suspension. After it hit the newswires, snaer heads prevailed and the coach got re-instated.

Contrast that to the previous poster article about the laywer/parent trying to run the team behind the coaches back.

I'm sure he is regretting his actions now, as they seriously backfired. This is getting a lot of ink in the GTA. There are several spoof websites advertising his services that have sprung up mocking his real website.

The guy has the insight of a gnat. I am sure he believes every bit of the drivel that comes out of his mouth.
