It really isn't, but I heard they got some guys name Suter and Parise. Not that would matter since this isn't a thread about the Minnesota Wild.

I'll never count Holland out. The guy has more than proven himself to be very very good.

This thread is a response to the Wild thread I posted when we were riding high last season, then promptly nosedived. Then people blamed me and I eventually deleted the thread. So now we have a thread that isn't about the Wild.

Nobody who knows anything about hockey should ever count Holland out. You know he's got some ace up his sleeve somewhere.

It is said that the Wild will be holding an introductory press conference today at noon, not that it matters.

With all the high powered weapons the Wild have added maybe the press conference is to announce a new coach. Rumor has it that they are bringing back Jacques Lemaire in order to slow this team down a bit to make it fair for the rest of the NHL. ;)

The hockey team that is based in the Xcel Center have started the season with two wins.
