He won't be able to delete this one no matter how silly he looks.
I guess he's our cross to bear.

You have to wonder if the disorganization in the Badger Fan Base will have an effect on the Wisconsin hockey team this weekend.
Its a sad day for College Hockey when one of its finest fan bases is reduced to these shenanigans. If Wisconsin forms a Big Ten Hockey Conference, will Varsity Wisconsin be making the transition or will you just be leaving him with us along with Bimidji and UNO?
Bruce McLeod needs to take a look at the deleted thread and determine if suspensions should be handed out.

The thread title of the other thread (the deleted thread) said in no uncertain terms that the winner of this weekends game between DU and Wisconsin would be the winners of the MacNaughton Cup.Didn't we decide they were one in the same?
Could somebody explain to me what I missed? I have absolutely no idea what's going on. If nobody wants to post, I can be e-mailed. I'm very curious to find out if one of the Badger postersembarrassed the rest of us.
Classic post!!!Eaves from his weekly presser when asked about the thread deletion…
Certainly he has inserted himself into this as a distraction, but Oz and I told the boys that sometimes there will be difficulties when climbing the mountain. Sometimes the horse just won’t get in front of the cart. Sometimes the volume button just won’t turn up.
We outlined it like this to the boys. When you climb a mountain, and not just any mountain, but the biggest of mountains, you have a lot of support people along the route. People to outfit and train you, people at the base camp, rescue specialists for when things go wrong, a guide, etc.
When looking at this week, one of our support people that was by and large counter productive, but was along for the ride got out of line, and lead us in a direction opposed to the vision of the group. And when he realized that he had erred and that we were going in the wrong direction, he tried to back track and cover his footprints in the snow. So the boys and I sent Oz to grab him and throw him from a ledge, so to speak.
Now luckily, it was early in the week and by Friday we will have moved far enough over the next ridge to no longer hear his pathetic cries for understanding and help from the ravine bottom where he is slowly succumbing to exposure. I think the boys will have forgotten this by Friday, so I don’t see it as an issue.

Refering to the Lakehead exhibition game, Coach Gwozdecky came up with this gem......
"Tonight's game was about seeing where we were and what we needed to work on and now we can start working on the things we need to work on."
dg's Translation: There's gonna be some work going on.

On retaining the coaching staff...
"Anytime you have the success as our program has, you're bound to lose people. And we have lost people; to graduation and players, as I mentioned, Brett Skinner, but we have managed to keep our coaching staff intact. And I can't tell you how pleased I am and how grateful I am to our coaching staff--Steve Miller, Seth Appert and David Tenzer to be back with us. They've coached an awful long time and have recruited some great players. To keep that continuity with our staff is extremely important for the kind of team we have this year."
.
dg's Translation: I can't believe the knuckleheads that are running any of the hockey programs around the country didn't scoop these guys up. What do you expect from a bunch of bozo's that picked DU to finish 6th in the WCHA last year? (sighs) Oh well, their loss is our gain.

Guys,
every fanbase has people you don't agree with. But we have free speech. You don't have to agree with everyone (caveat: I don't know either of the 2 posters you refer to in the beginning at all). I don't necessarily agree with the posters you mention but they can have their say on whatever just like everyone else.
This strikes me as supremely childish. You don't like what someone says, then ignore it. done.

...on a tangent, this thread could have been titled " UW vs. DU get me a 7 and 7" referring to UW *hopefully* getting NCAA Title #7 to match DU, and referencing Goodfellas while doing so![]()

Wisconsin fans are "pioneering" the latest in hybrid thread technology, replacing threads every 24 hours to save bandwidth. By reducing old out of date content the same way that Mike Eaves discards unwanted recruits, readers can zip through shorter more efficient threads saving electricity, bandwidth and time.I'm surprised this series has generated so little interest here so far seeing as how the winnner gets the MacNaughton.
