The States: Where We Wish Texas Would Secede Already

It’s actually worse- looks like she came in after a self induced abortion and the hospital staff turned her in.

If true, I won’t care if nukes start dropping on Texas hospitals

In liberal-as-hell Massachusetts, all miscarriages 20 weeks of gestational age or greater must be reported to the state. The law very strictly defines who can access this info and in what manner they can access it, but I'd guess that Texas has... a much more "open" approach to the same thing.

I've had a hard time finding info to confirm or refute this, but it would not surprise me if Texas required this.

Curious what uno has to say about the democrat getting thrown off the primary ballot for the senate race

I've got lots of thoughts, starting with why the campaign cut it so close that 3 signatures in 2 counties make the difference. The campaign's statement after the ruling also annoyed the crap out of me.

The suit itself is crap, ignoring 30+ years of precedent. I'd have kicked it on standing alone because I don't get how a Republican can sue to keep a Democrat off the Democratic primary ballot.

Unfortunately, the state Supreme Court is stacked right now, so my guess is they uphold it 4-3 just like they did the last major election related case a couple years back.

So republicans in Florida turned the district like drawing to desantis, who is going to carve up the majority black districts.

cool

Are parents in Virginia writing the curriculums yet? That is what they wanted right?

And good on the 800k fewer people who voted for McAulliff than Biden...have fun with that.

My heart does not bleed for Virginia...

We deserve it. Simple as that. But it also says something about how easy it is to let our guard down, and I'm looking at you entire country with the Midterms coming.

Yeah, I have no sympathy. I had to live through Pawlenty and the Wrestler Idiot.

Listen, you guys just don't understand what really happened in VA, unlike noted VA scholar Sicotoka. ::makes jerkoff motion while rolling eyes::

"I'm telling you, the secret to winning elections is............who turns up to vote. I bet you guys didn't know that, but it's absolutely true. My big giant brain says so"

In North Dakota, they literally mean "who", as each precinct can only handle one voter, so it depends on who is there first, and then they close for the day.
