It will exist and it will be even more openly racist and bigoted. The mask is off and their pols have to embrace it, or risk being labeled traitors and "cucks" by their base.

40% of the country, and a majority of Boomers, are all-in on fascism and white nationalism.

They might not be Republicans though...Trump is already starting his SM platform it is only a matter of time before he starts his Party too. The way he is railing against McConnell shows he hates the GOP Establishment and they aren't leaving. He wants control, and he doesn't want to have to deal with #NeverTrumpers. Unless they all lose in the midterms I think the split is inevitable. The uber racists/Trump Fellators will leave.

I dont think any court will overrule the GA laws based on the food/water provision. I think they should but I don't see them throwing out a whole set of election rules because of one small piece. The best course is to do what Fade said and sell stuff for a buck. Have vendors walk up and down the lines like concessions people selling boxed lunches and drinks. (licensed of course have a legit business do it) Make sure said people are not wearing anything that identifies who they support, even though we will all know who they support, and there is nothing GA can do about it. They don't want to be seen as hurting local business ;^) Let Mark Elias fight the entire bill but plan accordingly starting today...which I am guess Stacy Abrams is doing.

If Manchin and Sinema hold the line on their stupidity for HR1 then screw them they get no quarter. Manchin saying they can only pass HR1 if the very people who are trying to restrict voting rights jump on board shows he has the IQ of the average Qucumber. Time to put the screws to him. Sinema is another story...no idea how to break through her White Privilege.

The thing is, that mask has been off since at least 1994, and it was already badly slipping with The Actor. Anybody who did not realize what the Republican party, and the American Right, were, over the past 40 years, was either an imbecile or being paid to look the other way.

Not sure they have to. You don't throw out an entire law if a single provision is unconstitutional.

You tell her that the DNC is pulling their endorsement, their money, and giving 2x to her primary opponent. Not sure if you can pull her off the committees like the House.

Make her an offer she can't refuse.

Could work but I can already feel the LGBTQ+ Community making a stink...though not as big of one as they would normally.

Edit: I just looked her up on Wiki, because I honestly had no idea. Which led me to find out that Tammy Baldwin is LGBT as well. Had no idea about either of them.

It's not like LGBTQ+ are a monolith. Add all those letters together and it's upwards of 15-20% of the population. It's like saying "the Latino community." It's so big you're just talking about people at this point, not a niche group.

Reminds me of Thurgood Marshall's quote when asked whether he hoped GHWB would replace him with another black justice:

"A black snake can bite you just as bad as a white snake."

We ended up with Thomas, and Marshall could not have been more correct.

MI GOP chair: Whitmer, Nessel, and Benson are "witches" and then attempts to joke about assassinating them.

This, as the MI GOP looked at GA and took notes on how to suppress the vote.
