On that racism in Minnesota schools- I’m shocked - shocked- that the vaunted Minnetonka district has issues.

last I heard they were even less diverse than Edina. I believe it too- every time a school district is labeled number 1, all kinds of wealthy white people fall over themselves to ge their kids in. I had friends selling their soul to get into wayzata 8 years ago and now tonka is the shiny new toy.

From the Texas GOP's point of view, the goal of this isn't really to arrest, prosecute, or stop anyone. It's to discourage more liberals from moving to Texas and to drive out the ones already living there who now run most of the cities. Same with the anti-abortion legislation - they know they're losing the long game, so they're playing the fascist cards they have left.
