One Minnesota State senator and one state representative were shot dead this morning by a suspect who was reportedly dressed as a police officer. Manhunt continues for the suspect and a third state congresswoman in the neighborhood is aware of the situation and police are protecting her property

Holy fuck, the suspects vehicle was full cosplay as a cop and had a full kitted SUV with red and blues as well. (Confirming the earlier post)

Some of you may have heard me mention my old buddy that is a state rep. He used to have parts of these suburbs in his district, but when the map changed a couple years ago his district is 100% on the other side of the Mississippi now. Hortman has been a big help and a mentor to him, he’s having a hard time with this.

law enforcement officials say they made a proactive check at Rep. Hortman's home after a lawmaker who lived nearby was shot and found a "police vehicle in the driveway with emergency lights and what appeared to be a police officer at the door coming out of the house." He was actually the gunman.
