I shoulda remembered Memphis, it is definitely TN's entry. Great town -- only pace I've ever been as laid back as New Orleans.

Minneapolis is too big. Parts of it are like that but not the whole thing. Duluth definitely wants to be Portland.

I've actually driven though Colorado City, AZ. It's one of the pedo polygamist cult towns, go figure.

I've gotta get up there. Of my unvisited states (MN, MT, ND, NE, OK, TX, MS, AL, AK) it's the only one I have much interest in.

I'd have guessed Bisbee for the liberal town in AZ. Abandoned strip mine site reinvented as an artists' colony. It's Taos with fewer vagina flowers and more of those ugly "found art" metal sculptures.

Not surprising where it is. That is basically WV. Dr. Mrs. and I were driving out there and passed a shot gun shack with a confederate flag on the outside, a Nazi flag inside visible through the window, and two haggard looking bean pole guys staring outside through the window.

Imagine being a black family and running into sh-t like that?

It's pure red Republican out there; the worst of the worst.
