Re: The States: Doing Their Own Thing...

And Congreff needs to remove the prohibition and let each of the several states regulate.

Yeah, that'll happen.

This is exactly like DACA. Except for some reason we (Trump administration) rescind DACA cause were afraid of the Courts. But, we haven't started locking up everyone in every State that is illegally selling, buying, and using Marijuana. Time to get it done.

DACA was done by Executive Fiat, not legislation. Immigration policy needs to be under the jurisdiction of the Congreff. The Executive Branch implements and enforces(?) the policy. Nice article in today's WaPo.

States can't override Federal Law. Different but very similar. It rhymes.

And, if DACA people are illegal and we know where they are. Round them up and deport them. NOW. The Law is the Law. Tear down the Statue while you're at it.

Well what about the Sanctuary states and cities?

As of now the Executive Branch is giving the Congreff until March (6 month deadline) to get their act together. If they fail, and I expect them to do so spectacularly, then those who entered this country illegally can be deported. Can, not will.

Sanctuary cities are illegal. Lock them up. It's pretty simple. Stop whining about it and do it. The GOP is in power. This is what they believe. So ****ing do it. Round up the 12 million and get them the **** out. NOW. NOW NOW NOW NOW. I'm sick of hearing about it. Do it.

Then maybe you should start supporting Jeff Sessions. :p

We'll see what happens with California.

Re: The States: Doing Their Own Thing...

Irrelevant. It's illegal Federally. Didn't you just say the Law is the Law? Lock 'em up.

Then I'm sure a court will declare the legislative action null and void. Just like they did with California's Prop 8.

Plus, if you're going to lock anyone up, you'd have to lock up those that use it. Not the legislators. ;)

CA purports to fine any business $10,000 for cooperating with ICE.

I don't believe that for a second.

Edit: So you're apparently referencing the AG threatening a fine for businesses who illegally turn over information to the feds.

Key word: illegally.
