Not really. Employers withhold the taxes from you on your payday, but they then forward your collected taxes to the Treasury on a quarterly basis. I donā€™t believe you can opt out of having your employer withhold taxes on your behalf, unless youā€™re a 1099 contractor.

Been a while, but I seem to recall that on my employerā€™s version of the W-4, thereā€™s a place where you can sign to certify that you are exempt from withholding, so I guess there must be some (probably very unusual) circumstances that qualify.

A President who withholds or delays funds appropriated by Congress for political reasons is engaged in an illegal practice known as impoundment. The Impoundment Control Act of 1974: Passed due to Nixon's refusal to spend appropriated funds, sets strict rules on the President can and can't do.

Can you go deeper on his policy stuff? How's he differ from Frey? I'd rather hear it from someone on the ground there.

Itā€™s almost like thereā€™s a huge population of people living there who didnā€™t vote for this but nonetheless are stuck where they are and getting fucked hard like always. Iā€™m thinking black and brown people.
