If you had any shimmer of hope that the Constitution still existed, it doesn't anymore. Legislation from the bench.

Because the Second Amendment, unlike all other rights, is absolute.

Despite misgivings about the Imperial Presidency, this seems like it was decided sanely. You can't have Congress running around trying to exercise what is clearly an executive power.

Hey, with the Court tilting more liberal by the day, nothing should be very surprising.

You do know the current Court is farther right than any time since the early 1930's, right?

I like that ruling in that they were very, very selective and left what is probably a much more important and substantial decision at the door. Nicely done.

On the overall case itself, it just comes off like a dik measuring contest between a bunch of whiny adult children.

'Twas ever thus. I would say that description seemingly covers at least half of all lawsuits on the docket at any given time.

The President tonight threw down the gauntlet at the Supreme Court re PPACA. His quote was, I believe, "Don't you dare overturn this law."

Bad move IMO. You don't waive the red flag at the bull.
