6-0 final. SLU came to play and did a great job on the pp, and defensively. Tech did not adjust until the third. They were able to cover the back door by then but SLU had I think three pp goals that way.
Tech was not in it as, from the very beginning, they were just really flat.
Congrats to SLU, keep up that kind of play and you should win many more. Much improved defense by SLU over last night. Tech did not come out of the zone well at all and this hurt whereas SLU was getting out quite well and moved the puck extremely well. Tech did adjust but it was too late by then, and they got zero bounces. If they had scored on any of those 4 breakaways it might have lit a fire under them.

Agreed 100% and then some. Some responses tonight by the Saints - 14-hr., or whatever, bus ride, 6th straight road game and 9th in their last in 10, and SLU plays like this. Joe Marsh and staff can flat out coach and the players sure did respond. Kudos to SLU!!
