Not only is there Black Friday, but the day many of the online dealers do the great deals. I forget what catchy name they've given to it, though.

Does anyone really want a snuggie? On second thought, apparently a lot of people want a snuggie because they can't figure out how to use a remote while using a blanket.

Well, I'm morbidly curious towards Black Friday this year... I will be selling Ski/Snowboard gear at Dick's Sporting Goods.... Not sure of what my hours will be as we have had some management shifting around, so schedules are still up in the air...

As someone who never even imagined of venturing out before 4pm on this day, I am kinda curious to see the 5am nutjobs out... This will be my first time doing this deal... Would anyone that has worked on this day have any survival tips?

Oh, and at Best Buy, employees are supposed to refer to this day as "Green Friday"... Apparently Black Friday is too negative or something...

Anyone know if Newegg is doing anything? There's a laptop I'm eyeing up and I wonder if I'd be able to get it cheaper.

I used to work Black Friday at Sears. I was hourly + commission so what I'd do is I'd lock down at a register and wouldn't move. Did close to $10,000 in sales myself. Once the morning rush was over, it was quite boring.

Last year, I went out on Black Friday to Mall of America in the afternoon. I took the train in and it was easy. Crowds weren't too bad. I wasn't going to go after all that junk in the morning. I then took the train up to Downtown Minneapolis to the Macy's. I had almost all of my Christmas shopping done, without having to drive and without any crazy crowds.

When does Fleet Farm open? Thats where I'll do most of my Christmas shopping. :cool:
