Each year's field OUGHT to include:
1. Each of the B1G (6)
2. Winners of the 'other' conference auto-bids (5)
3. At-large bids (5)

North Dakota got screwed the most of any team. Just by making the tournament they were forced to go to Fargo. Anyone who's been to Fargo knows what a terrible place it is. First the NCAA makes UND drop their nickname and now they make UND to go to Fargo? That's just cruel and unusual punishment.

My team got screwed, but it was in the penultimate RS game and it didn't matter a bit.

So basically my team probably got screwed less any anybody else this season.

Was going to post this in the NE Regional discussion but since this is the official whining thread....

After all the BS concern about attendance could the NCAA make this any less fan friendly? $55 per seat, 2PM start so I can't get a half day of work in, gotta pull my kids out of school early and when I get there I won't even have the privilege of paying $10 for a beer. Other than diehard fans of Yale/BU and the fly-ins from MN just who do they think will show up? I live less than an hour away and I've been to 26 college hockey games this year, if they can't get me to go they sure as heck won't get any "casual fans" who just appreciate a good hockey game. And why on earth would UMD-MN be the later game, do the few folks flying out from MN care if their game is early? 2/3 of the 1st game attendees will bolt when it's over and the teams from MN will be playing to a 1/4 full house at best.

I agree with Fishhawk. It could have been done better.
