The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

Just saw a replay of a hit on Poganski. Shoulder to head. Was there a penalty called on it?

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

"Borderline calls" aint the problem with this game.

If you were playing uncalled cross-checks for shots you'd already be unconscious.

It's both teams. This is like watching a 1960's game.

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

What are you talking about? That was a,clear cross check all day.

A more blatant cross check just happened to a NoDak player with a no-call... take off your east coast glasses for a sec.

Physician, heal thyself.

I know the play you're talking about and I agree it should have been called. But the hit on Anas was significantly worse -- it looked like deliberate intent to injure.

Well that gravy master commercial was creepy

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

The fans of both these teams are super cute. They're really showing their mean board scores. :p

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

Was AIC not available to host the FF, had to go with Wisconsin logo?

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

That was kind of a dull period after the craziness of the first.

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

I love how a game that starts with Boeser tackling a guy and getting nothing somehow turns into an "anti-NoDak conspiracy".

You guys need to lay off the tin foil.

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

stechers cross check was a penalty for sure. UND doesn't need to touch Sam Anas he's already hurt and doesn't appear to be anything special tonight

I'm fine with the calls on NoDak but this needs to be called on both ends... that hit on Anas was very borderline. Any healthy player is right back in the play after that and no call. He's fragile, goes down and stays down, and it's called.

... because it was a crosscheck to the back by the boards. That should be called every time.

Re: The North Dakota Fighting Sioux vs. The Quinnipiac Braves

Yup. From all accounts, Lowell fans who went there for a game this season said it was hands down the coldest rink they'd ever been to.

They must not have been to UConn's outdoor rink. Players got frostbite there.

To be fair, Anas delivers his share of cheap shots, so it's probably very tempting to hit him back. But that hit on him was dangerous.
