The only seats that they showed available were on the end regardless of the number of tickets being purchased. We will be purchasing ours today. I am skipping my classes on Friday to go to the game...don't tell anyone! A bad thing about this weekend is that for all the people in Greek life, it is their "Greek Weekend," so I think if people were on the fence about going, they will probably not go due to it being Greek Weekend...but I am going regardless, I have yet to miss any trips to the joe since I have been alive, and I don't plan on missing this one to Grand Rapids. Should be fun.

What can be better than watching college hockey on a Friday night....NOTHING! If I go, I would love to see that game.

I'm sure most of the BG folks who make the trip will stay for the 2nd semi, regardless of the outcome of our game.

Top 10 reason's we should stay:

1. We booked our hotel thru an on-line auction, and cant get a refund.
2. Its too far to drive home after a couple of adult beverages.
3. What else you gonna due on a Friday night?
4. We hate Ferris, and relish the opportunity to root against them.
5. We think Anchorage's logo is just about as cool as anything we've ever seen, would hate to miss the chance to see it.
6. Friday nite's forecast is for mix of rain and snow, who'd want to drive in that?
7. If we leave tonight we'd miss out on the hotel's free continental breakfast.
8. Too many empty seats would make our conference look bad on TV.
9. Any time spent in the presence of other college hockey fans is time well spent (unless they're WalMart Wolverines)
10. Did I mention how much we hate Ferris?

Hey, what is up with the Ferris hate?

Save all the "hate" for when Western Michigan and Miami wants into the WCHA!

I don't like Miami, but you have to respect the program. However, Western Michigan..............the hate of them goes deep with Ferris fans.

I would love to see a Ferris - BG final. The old CCHA!!

I want ferris to do well! I've always like them since we knocked you guys out a few years back and you made it to the national championship game. I would love to see a ccha championship game

I used to save ALL my hate for Miami, but since they bailed, Ferris is next in line.

no particular dislike of Ferris here--I save all of that for miami, and only miami (don't like to dilute my contempt).

If they do, it's an extra $18/$35 since you need a separate ticket for the second game. That's an extra 3 or 4 beers at Hopcat.

I still hate Miami. I can't really say I hate anyone in the league now. I want the old ccha teams to do well, when they are not playing us, and I want the wcha to do well out of conference.

No one has said you don't have a 1st amendment right to be a moron and stay retarded stuff, but we also have the right to tell you you're being a ****ing moron *******.

You do realize that your reactions make you easy targets, don't you? You would be better off ignoring the comments then coming back with this kind of crap. FWIW, most of the season threads that I've seen or commented in do talk about the games that were just played for a day or two afterwards so I understand where Freddie was coming from. I also know him and most of what he posts like that is all tongue in cheek. Do yourselves a favor, if you don't like it, ignore it.

Obviously he's the new "Dirty" to the league...I get it, and yes I'm an easy target right now because I'm more annoyed with the disappointing season than him, he just had to "poke the bear" at the wrong time. His team won, why does he give a **** that we're complaining about a disappointing season instead of giving props to his team who still has games to play.
