You sound like his wife.
WCHA COY; Daniels, really?
Jim Roque was robbed.

Ryan — when I said on-ice for the logo, I should've written under-the-ice.
Looks like the first round of playoffs will be on WCHA.tv. I can see the UAA @ UAF game listed in my Season Pass. [ETA: I see my partner-in-crime posted as well.]

And it's on now! And I haven't been asked to pay extra! YAY!
From the attendance figures posted on other threads it would appear the WCHA could find itself with some financial challenges down the road.
It was the same way in the CCHA. Playoffs start when a lot of schools are on Spring break, and attendance suffers. One thing that hurts in the playoffs is that the attendance is based wholly on people coming in the door and not those people + season ticket holders that didn't show up. Combine that with a lot of the schools either being on or about to go on spring break, and it's tough. That said, it is still worrisome.

season ticket holders at MTU are required to buy first riund playoff tickets and then seek a refund if they don't host. One thing that hurts in the playoffs is that the attendance is based wholly on people coming in the door and not those people + season ticket holders that didn't show up. Well, that's one (mildly antagonistic) way to handle it.

not really to "seek" it. I got an email that said, there are no home playoffs - should we refund your credit card or deposit the balance towards next year?
Well done by the Tech athletic department.

We no longer get anything for unused playoff tickets. They're just "part of the season package." We used to be able to credit their value to our next year's package, but they stopped that several years ago.
Many people thought that before the season ever started. Time will tell. UAA certainly isn't going to get a nice lump of cash from the league like they did when the big guns were in our conference.
And in what certainly cannot be a good sign for attendance for the Final Five I bought a ticket yesterday for the second semi-final, in the center section, in row 8. Granted it was only a single, but still not a good sign.
We were going to buy our tickets yesterday but there was an issue with ticket master in our area. The only seats that they showed available were on the end regardless of the number of tickets being purchased. We will be purchasing ours today. BG should have a fairly good showing, although a 2:00 PM game on Friday isn't ideal.
