This will be the 122nd edition of "The Battle Over 41". NMU leads the all-time series 62-47-12, but in spite of two craptacular seasons, Tech sports a 3-2-1 record in the last six meetings.

Josh Robinson expected to start in net for the Huskies. Reid Ellingson should get the call for the Wildcats.

Alright, so I predict that it's 2-0 NMU within the first five minutes of the game and it'll be time to pour a pity beer.

They just played a pre-game interview with Walt, talking about his recruits and Olver/Gus moving on and such.

Russell:

-Tough week of making lineup decisions
-Will make a lot of roster changes over the next 9 days to keep fresh legs in the lineup

-Thinks Europe experience will help older players adjust to big ice a little quicker than usual
-Will do as much line matching as possible (considering not having last change and all)

-Will be tougher to be physical, but need to finish checks
-Older freshmen (Furne, McCadden) a little more mature than most

This reminds me of a game at NMU a few years ago. Tech takes an early penalty (actually, it was Footer), and NMU scores... and the final score ends up being 1-0.

Sigh.
