The NCHC Year Two: Haters Please Form A Queue to the Right

Re: The NCHC Year Two: Haters Please Form A Queue to the Right

You throw around the word class a lot. I think Dirty has plenty of class.

The point of the NCHC was to create a conference where the strength of schedule would entice recruits, make coaches happy and increase the chances of having 4 or 5 (or hell maybe even 6) teams high in the pairwise. The NCHC is top to bottom a better conference with more good teams than other western leagues. MSU, Tech and BGSU are all great teams, but the NCHC has more good teams than the WCHA.

You're missing my point, which is that those schools cried about what the Big Ten schools did only to turn around and do the same exact thing. That makes them hypocrites in my opinion.

Re: The NCHC Year Two: Haters Please Form A Queue to the Right

Sorry to inform you it is arrogance regardless of whether or not it is true, and if you really want to get down to it we could easily debate how true it is in this particular case. The NCHC has some good teams, but you're delusional if you believe those teams are so far above and beyond the other good teams in college hockey. If you think that a team from the NCHC is going to win the national championship this year I think you're going to be disappointed.

As for your classless remark about the city I live in... have you ever heard of Danny Irmen? 'Nuff said.

You just haven't accepted the truth yet. That's OK, soon you'll know I am right.

As for Danny Irmen, do you mean the Danny Irmen who left Fargo to play in Grand Forks?

Oh. They've been called worse things.

Are we supposed to care about your opinion?
Cause quite frankly, I don't.

The fact that he spent a year playing high school hockey in GF doesn't make him any less of a Fargo native. Nice try though, LOL!!!

Justifiably so, based on the way they abandoned the WCHA/CCHA.

The teams that made up the NCHC never owed anything to any other school including the teams that made up the new WCHA. Your opinions on entitlement of the "left behinds" are as laughable as the hockey conference called the big ten.

If you want to believe so go ahead. It's just another thing in a growing list that you are obviously delusional about. A rational person would take it as proof that Fargo truly is a stinktown with nothing to offer but as you've proven in this thread, you're clearly not rational.

The Big Ten schools never owned anything to anybody either, but that didn't stop the NCHC schools from crying about the Big Ten schools abandoning the WCHA/CCHA. I guess maybe they had a right to have hurt feelings over that situation, at least from their own delusional point of view. But then they lost all credibility when they formed the NCHC. Totally contradicted their own point.

Refresh my memory... where is the NCAA West Regional being held next month?

West Moorhead. Despite being a complete stinktown, UND is trying, almost certainly in vein, to put Fargo on the road to non-stinktownness.

Okay, I'll feed the troll...

Give me a list of reasons why you consider Fargo to be (your choice of words) a stinktown. I'll give you NDSU football, they're pretty unlikeable. But other than that, what else is wrong with Fargo in your warped mind?

You sound more bitter than anything.

Not really, just calling out those programs on their hypocrisy. My favorite team is in the Big Ten, so I'm sort of an outsider looking in on the situation. But I can tell you that IF my favorite team was one of the leftover WCHA/CCHA teams that had to join forces to make up the new WCHA... then hell yes I would be bitter. What those NCHC schools did was a pretty slimeball move, especially after how they cried like babies about the Big Ten schools leaving the WCHA/CCHA. It has caused me to develop an intense dislike for all of the NCHC schools (and, for the record, I never disliked any of them before this all went down).

Good for you.

Yeah, Cable One sucks. That's why I have DirecTV, but then again I would have DirecTV no matter what city I lived in. So Cable One has no impact on me one way or the other. NDSU fans are annoying for sure, I'll give you that one. That is the only problem I have with living in Fargo. And, for the record, yes we do have a Super Target. The one on 13th Ave. and 42nd Street. It wasn't always a Super Target, and personally for my own needs I could care less if was just a regular Target. But yes it is in fact a Super Target. All of the other items on your list are a non-factor as far as I'm concerned, nothing that would make or break my decision to live somewhere.

Re: The NCHC Year Two: Haters Please Form A Queue to the Right

It is not a Super Target. So says Target's website. So once again I am right and you are wrong. Who would've guessed?
