Or sh^tty programs who refused to dedicate the necessary resources to maintain a respectable DI team.

Donald, current RPI: Maine 53, UAA 55. You know, the one that matters. I also don't think I need to mention Maine's been historically decent while UAA has been historically....not.

as a justification for North Dakota rationale for leaving the current WCHA. This is a "thing" that you brought up. You were trying to make the point that a roadtrip to Orono was always better for pairwise rankings than a trip to Anchorage. And historically UAA hasn't been as bad as they are this year. Things do change ... Maine might find their way back up to respectability. UAA could get better while your future non-conference east coast road trip opponents might not. Nothing about your point was particularly interesting except for the part I've just pointed out was wrong.

Enjoy your trips to Schenectady ... Ithaca ... Orono and New Jersey and most of all Omaha. Visit the Zoo there! It is nice. Make sure and stop in at The Spaghetti Factory for a hoot.

UND and all the other NCHC teams obviously should've stayed in the WCHA because once every blue moon UAA just might be better than Maine, Cornell and/or some other random east coast team.

They played inspired hockey that weekend. If didn't have an emotional investment with MN I would have enjoyed the games. ;)
And if I remember correctly AA did the same thing to UW one or two years earlier? That I enjoyed.

Maybe UAA should get a banner made up for the Sully to commemorate that high point in their program's history.
