Why does the Commissioner have to skate to improve the ice conditions at Target Center?

Does the CEO of Target know how to run a cash register?

Did FDR know how to drive a tank?

Will the Northstar line be providing service to the NCHC tourney? I just happened to notice that the Target Center is right next to Target Field!

A post where JDubbs isn't trying to go down on something Minnesota related. It's a miracle. Of course he has to use someone else's material, but it's a start.

Dubbs, perhaps you should retweet it in Barriero's direction, I'm sure he'd appreciate hearing from you again.

Still kinda sad. Actually, really sad. I can't even make fun of it, it's so sad. How incompetent are you? New league. Need promotion. And you let the site lag. BRILLIANT!

Pffft. It's not that bad. It's more a great example of someone trying to come up with any little fact they can to complain about something. They're probably working on hiring a staff that would work on that.

Does the league really need its own site when it is still more than a year away from playing games and every member is an active member of another league?
Any "league" business could easily be put out and found on the varioius school sites.

It's especially interesting since so much of the supposed dissatisfaction came from the supposed incompetence of the WCHA league leaders. Everyone has to admit there is a little bit of irony in all of this when a group puffs out their chest, talks about how bad things are with leadership, says how great things will be and then follow it up with a underwhelming press conference to announce the league and letting a simple web site expire for 2 weeks. Not necessarily a sign of bad things, just ironic.

If the NCHC did launch a league website people would still be talking smack. Instead of it not existing people would be talking smack that they have a website up when they aren't even playing games yet and there is still a season left in the WCHA before the doomsday implosion occurs.

I'm going to talk smack to ANY company that buys a domain, then uses it, and the lets it expire.... there is no excuse for that. You get emails for months beforehand...

Not exactly. The people who brought this up are the ones making fun of it. The people that would complain about such a thing are the ones who don't seem to care. Did a site actually exist before? If not then maybe I can understand because they will change domains. But if a site was there and not it's gone, oops. Someone's getting fired for that. :)

I've never gotten an email, and I have had domains lapse. Depends on who's hosting.

It has nothing to do with needing a website now, and everything to do with the fact that they did create one, then let the domain expire. And stay expired for TWO WEEKS!

They would have been better off not creating one right away. Yet, I think they would probably still goof it up and let the domain expire.

I mean, have you seen their Twitter avatar? My little brother could have made that.

I should swoop in and buy the domain they were using. Force them to pick a new one, then listen to them (and you all) make excuses for why they changed it. Would be CLASSIC!!

Why don't you guys just admit that there is a large dose of incompetence in your new conference's leadership? The fact that you can't even recognize even the most obvious oversights is sad.

First they start the conference by holding a disorganized press conference (I can pull up Bruce Ciskie's article where even he rips on it), then you swing and miss on Notre Dame, sign a second rate TV contract (UND will actually have LESS games on TV), and then lose out on the XCel to the B1G for your conference tourney.

Now this. LOL!!

I'd rather be in the NCHC than uncle Jerry's rape van aka B1G. What will the conference trophy be? A big panel van?
